I’ve personally had several calls and conversations lately from School Leaders looking to lift their heads from the daily challenges of the current circumstances and to instead plan for the future.
The theme in those conversations was clear. They’re looking to get their collective Executive Leadership Team on the same page and then they’re looking for just the right amount of support and accountability.
And so, I’ve built a Leadership Mentoring program that’s built for this purpose. The graphic below gives you an idea of how it can work for your school.
The rest of 2020 need not be a case of every single school re-inventing the wheel. There have been similar disruptions before, such as Hurricane Katrina in 2005 and the Christchurch earthquakes in 2011.
Lessons have been learned. Research has been done. Opportunities exist. The training day for your Executive Team is about avoiding key risks and seizing those opportunities. It’s a narrowing of your focus on the actions that will have the most impact on your school.
