The Student Behaviour PhD 2025

Do you lie awake at night worried about how you’re going to manage the escalating student behaviour in your classroom? Maybe you’re even thinking about leaving the profession that you used to feel so passionate about?

This course is for you.

You’ll get a clear roadmap that will improve the behaviour in your classroom. You’ll gain confidence in your ability to manage challenging behaviour.

Your students will be more engaged. You’ll learn how to build an environment of mutual trust, with clear expectations and open, two way communication.

So, while you won’t get a doctorate at the end, you might just start to enjoy walking into your school again, feeling proud of the work you do to contribute to our kids’ futures.

Up to

70%

of our teachers are considering

leaving the profession.

More than

24%

of teachers do not feel safe at work

with student behaviour and violence stated as the major reason.

It is

Not OK

teachers are crying out for help.

How will we help?

This practical, no-nonsense course will focus on:

  • Really understanding student behaviour, including what motivates the behaviour, and a deep dive into anger and aggression.
  • Common mistakes – or as we like to call it, ‘What not to do.’
  • Better ways to resolve conflict, which you can implement in your classroom, or the school yard, right away.
  • Resilience and self-esteem. We’ll talk about how a restorative culture – one that is built on trust and high expectations – can help build resilience in our young people.
  • Lastly we’ll focus on designing your practice future. So you can get back to feeling proud of the work you do, and excited about getting walking into your classroom.
