Before the Algorithm, There Was You!

Scroll for five minutes and you’ll meet hundreds of influencers shaping how we think, eat, parent or lead. But away from the screen, it isn’t the algorithm shaping young people – it’s the people who show up consistently in their real, offline worlds.

People in schools, homes, workplaces, sporting clubs and community groups influence every day. Intentionally or not! Through how they respond when things go wrong or how they celebrate our wins. Influence doesn’t need a platform – it needs a personal touch.

A restorative approach asks people to recognise their influence and use it intentionally. Not to control behaviour, but to shape culture, at home, in school, and at training. Adam (our Founder and CEO) may be a professional influencer, but his work reminds us that the real impact lives in everyday interactions… Like when:

  • A coach pulls a player aside instead of calling them out.
  • A leader notices and asks, “What do you need right now?” or acknowledges your progress and success.
  • A teacher stays curious about why, being educational rather than judicial in their interactions.

These moments don’t go viral – but they go deep. And they are remembered by our young people.

Relationships matter more than reactions, rules and rank.

So, like it or not – you’re an influencer!
